Spent all day with my favorite family (so, not mine) to celebrate a certain best friend’s dad becoming the mayor.  Officially, today, when he got sworn in around two.  And there was a bunch of delicious food afterwards, and ohmygod that ham was so good.

I think it’s gonna be a good new year.
